Andrew A. Davis '85 and the Shelby Cullom Davis Foundation

Andrew A. Davis ’85 and the Shelby Cullom Davis Foundation established the Shelby Cullom Davis Scholarship for International Studies in 1997. This scholarship is intended primarily to support an international students attending Colby, but can also be used for students in need who plan to study abroad.The Davises are firm believers in the necessity of and power in diversity, believing that it benefits everyone. Through this scholarship, and the United World Scholars program, they have increased diversity at Colby by bringing international students to Mayflower Hill and by helping students study abroad. Andrew Davis is president of Davis Selected Advisors. An administrative science major at Colby, he is now a member of the Board of Trustees and has served as an Admissions volunteer, Career Services volunteer, and January internship sponsor. Colby presented him with an honorary M.A. in 1999.
