Hoopes Family Fund for Museum and Civic Experiences
This fund is intended to support students with demonstrated financial need to undertake experiential opportunities in the fields of fine arts, museum, and government. The Donors are making this gift to Colby with the intention of contributing to the diversity of practitioners in the fields of museums and politics. The support for students made possible through this gift can take the form of a stipend and/or financial aid to offset tuition, housing, transportation, living costs, or similar expenses or to directly fund internships at other institutions. Examples include, but are not limited to: rent while interning at a museum or a government entity; living expenses for a student who stays on campus to work with the Colby Museum of Art; or travel expenses for a student traveling overseas for a Jan Plan experience with Colby faculty.
